How to Open a First Metro Securities Account Online - The Hassle-free way!

In this post, I will be sharing the step-by-step process on how to open a First Metro Sec Online stock trading account. This is solely based on my experience in opening an account last August 24, 2018. One of my goals this year is really to save and invest and I am very glad that I finally did it. Hurray to me!!!
Anyway, just to share to you, First Metro is not my first choice as my stock broker. I already passed all the required documents to Col Financial but I think there are things that aren't meant to be 😞. My first attempt to open a stock trading account failed. Fortunately, I came across a blogger (sorry, I forgot to save that blog) which discussed her experience in opening an account online. This is so very convenient for me since I have a day job.
Here are the step-by step process:
1. Visit www.firstmetrosec.com.ph and click on GET STARTED then OPEN ACCOUNT: Since my payroll account is under Metrobank, I chose Metrobank Account Holders.
2. The next window will let you see the list of requirements you prepare before you proceed with the application. Click Next Page.
4. Check your email to see the verification email they sent you.
5. After verifying your email, you will need to upload the required documents. I used my PRC ID (Valid ID) and SSS ID (Proof of Address). Don't forget to send also your specimen signatures as indicated in the sample.
6. After sending, you will need to wait up to 48 working hours for this email. Once done, you are good to go to place your first stock investment!
